Picture Of The Week #60 MARIAH in Top Of The Pops
On November 12th, 1999 I was at the recording of the German of Top Of The Pops. Mariah performed Heartbreaker and Thank God I Found You. On February 19th, 2000 RTL finally showed the Thank God I Found You performance.

Am 12. November 1999 war ich bei der Aufnahme von Top Of The Pops in Köln. Mariah sang Heartbreaker und Thank God I Found You. Am 19. Februar 2000 zeigte RTL endlich den Auftritt von Thank God I Found You.

On February 20th, 2000 Mariah held Her second concert in Germany ever.
It was a show made in heaven. Mariah's voice sounded excellent like on CD! The show was spectacular.

Es war eine himmlische Show. Mariah's Stimme klang excellent wie von CD! Die Show war spektakulär.

In the last few days I waited for something new about Mariah on TV. But nothing was on. So I decided to choose this shot from the commercial shown on MTV because I`m going to Cologne and Paris to Mariah LIVE on stage.
Tagelang habe ich auf etwas neues im Fernsehen gewartet. Leider Fehlanzeige. Deshalb entschied ich mich für diesen Schnappschuss aus der Werbung auf MTV weil ich nach Köln und Paris gehe um Mariah LIVE zu sehen.

On January 30th, 2000 Mariah was featured Star Of The Week in the RTLII TV show BRAVO TV. Mariah joked that She's not happy that Bianca is coming with Her on tour. But there is no need to worry, She can handle Her bad nemesis. And there will be a some more surprise during the show.
Am 30. January 2000 war Mariah der Star Der Woche in BRAVO TV. Mariah witzelte Sie ist nicht glücklich darüber dass ausgerechnet Bianca mit auf Tour kommt. Aber keine Sorge Sie wird schon fertig mit Ihrem bösartigem Ebenbild. Und es wird noch ein paar mehr Überaschungen auf den Konzerten geben.

On January 17th, 2000 Mariah got a special achievement Award at the American Music Awards. Mariah opened the show by singing Thank God I Found You (Remix).
Am 17. January 2000 bekam Mariah einen Preis für außergewöhnliche Leistungen bei den American Music Awards. Mariah eröffnete die Show in dem Sie Thank God I Found You (Remix) live sang.

Picture Of The Week #54 Chit Chat With Bianca
In this sketch Mariah shows how the media treats her. Due to jealousy and envy there seems to be no interest in her answers. This is the reason why most parts of interviews are about the misunderstandings of the last interviews.
MTV Germany showed it on January 8th, 2000 the first time.
In dem Sketch führt Mariah vor wie Sie von den Medien behandelt wird . Durch Neid und Misgunst gibt es anscheinend kein Interesse an Mariah's Antworten. Das führt dann dazu daß in den meisten Interviews die Misverständnisse der vorigen Interviews behandelt werden.
MTV Germany zeigte den Sketch am 08. Januar 2000.

Before the MTV European Music Awards (11.11.1999) Mariah showed her wardrobe in the MTV Europe show Stylissimo. In the hotel in Paris Mariah showed her Heartbreaker T-Shirts, custom made pumps and other clothes to wear.
Vor den MTV European Music Awards (11.11.1999) zeigte Mariah Ihre Garderobe in der MTV Europe Sendung Stylissimo. In dem Pariser Hotel zeigte Mariah Ihre Heartbreaker T-Shirts, Selbst-designte Pumps und andere Kleidungsstücke.

In 1994 a special edition of MTV Europe's show The Soul Of MTV showed an interview with Mariah Carey. Mariah talked about the Merry Christmas album, Christmas gifts and all kind of stuff.
 1994 wurde in der Sendung The Soul Of MTV ein einstündiges Special mit Mariah gezeigt. Mariah sprach über das Merry Christmas Album, Weihnachtsgeschenke und alle möglichen Sachen.

After celebrating Christmas with my family I love to enjoy listening to Mariah's Christmas album. Especially the traditional songs like Silent Night, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing put you in a really festive mood.
Frohe Weihnachten an MARIAH und all Ihren FANS
Nach der Weihnachtsfeier im Kreis der Familie höre Mariah's Weihnachtsalbum bevor ich ins Bett gehe. Insbesonders die traditionellen Songs wie Silent Night, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing wirken in der Heiligen Nacht besonders festlich.

In 1994 Mariah gave a benefit concert for Camp Mariah / Fresh Air Fund. The event took place in New York City in the St. John The Divine church.
The performance of Joy To The World was shown in 1995 on German television.

1994 gab Mariah ein Benefiz Konzert für Camp Mariah / Fresh Air Fund. Das Ereignis fand in der St. John The Divine Kirche in New York City statt.
Am 22.12.1995 wurde auf Sat1 im Anschluss an das Madison Square Garden Konzert (10.10.1995) die Performance von Joy To The World gezeigt.

Picture Of The Week #49 Merry Christmas
For now over 5 years my favourite Christmas album comes from Mariah Carey. I LOVE the mixture of the classics and the new songs All I Want For Christmas Is You, Miss You Most At Christmas Time and Jesus Born On This Day written by Mariah Carey.
Mariah's version of Joy To The World is just amazing.
Für nun über 5 Jahre kommt mein Lieblings-Weihnachtsalbum von Mariah Carey. Ich LIEBE den mix aus den Klassikern und den neuen von Mariah Carey geschriebenen Songs (All I Want For Christmas Is You, Miss You Most At Christmas Time and Jesus Born On This Day).
Mariah's version von Joy To The World ist phenomenal.

Picture Of The Week #48 Mariah at The Lick Party in Dublin
After the MTV European Music Awards on November 11, 1999 famous R&B DJ Trevor Nelson invited to a party. Mariah showed everyone how to party. She shouted things like "Who is the greatest DJ in all the land" and pointed the mic to the audience. Then the remix of Heartbreaker was played. Mariah sang and rapped (Baby I`m The Real Thing) along and had a really great time.
Nach den MTV European Music Awards lud der beliebte R&B DJ Trevor Nelson zu einer Party ein. Mariah zeigte allen wie man Parties anheizt. Sie rief dinge wie "Wer ist der größte DJ im ganzen Land" und richtete das Mikro zum Publikum. Dann wurde der Remix von Heartbreaker gespielt. Mariah sang und rappte (Baby I`m The Real Thing) mit und hatte eine menge Spaß.

On November 21st, 1999 MTV Germany aired a new special produced by MTV Europe. I think this interview was made in October while Mariah's visit in London.
Am 21. November 1999 zeigte MTV Germany ein neues Special über Mariah. Ich denke dieses Interview wurde im Oktober in London gemacht.

On November 12th, 1999 I had the overwhelming pleasure to enjoy Mariah taping two performances for the German version of Top Of The Pops in Cologne.

Mariah Carey looked very happy during the interviews She did for German TV channels on October 13th 1999. Just look at the collage I made from various interviews and you'll agree with me.
Mariah sah während der letzten Interviews im Deutschen Fernsehen sehr glücklich aus. Die Collage machte ich von Screencaptures von Sat1, Pro7 und BRAVO TV.

Maybe some of you think "Why most of the screen captures show Mariah's face?"
The main problem is that full body screen captures are always to blurry. So I thought I made a collage showing Mariah's sexy body.
Manche denken vielleicht "Wieso zeigen die meisten Screen Captures nur Mariah's Gesicht?"
Der Hauptgrund ist dass ganz Körper Screen Captures immer verschwommen sind. Deshalb gibt es hier eine Collage der Mariah's sexy Körper etwas näher zeigt.

On October 16th, 1999 Mariah performed Heartbreaker in Top Of The Pops (German RTL). This time it was LIVE! The performance was prerecorded in England so the original version of Top Of The Pops will very likely see the same performance.

Am 16. Oktober 1999 trat Mariah in Top Of The Pops auf. Der Auftritt wurde in England aufgezeichnet und die UK Zuschauer werden höchstwahrscheinlich dieselbe Performance sehen.

Picture Of The Week #41 Mariah Carey Interviewed on Sat1 Blitz
On October 13th, 1999 Mariah Sat1 showed an exclusive interview with Mariah Carey in Hamburg. They showed Mariah working in a studio with Joe and making the remix video to Thank God I Found You which was shot in a bar in Hamburg.

Am 13. Oktober gab Mariah ein exclusives Interview der Sat1 Show Blitz. Mariah war übers Wochenende in Hamburg. Es wurden Bilder gezeigt wie Mariah mit Joe an einem Song arbeitete und anschließend das dazugehörige Video in einer Bar in Hamburg drehte.
